DAY 3

Hi all,

Well today we woke to a rainy day and they postponed our horseback ride till tomorrow, so on to plan C.

We decided to drive out rt 128 along the river to Red Cliff Lodge where we were going to ride
so we could find it easier tomorrow.

Because of the rain there were lots of falls.

Red Cliff Lodge.

Here you can rent a tepee or a cabin depending on if you are a cowboy or Indian.

View from dining hall of river.

Sue ran into an old friend there.

And that's no bull.

We head down the road and find a little old town called New Castle.

It sure dosn't look too new.

Ok maybe this is the new part.

Bird on a wire. We think it's a small young hawk.

This must be Castle Rock.

Now this is a big old tree.

Just when you think it's going to get nice another storm comes.

We head up to Dead Horse Point State Park that overlooks Canyonland National Park.

Even on a rainy day you can see for miles.

Look quick the sun is shining.

I feel very blessed to be here.

Our pick of the day ! What can I say only in America.

On the way back we our blessed with a small gift from God.
I think it's a sign of great things to come.

Tomorrow if no rain horseback riding.

See you on Day 4. Ralph , Prilly & Sue
